The 2008 American Warrior Martial Arts Tournaments
will be held on the following SUNDAYS:

~~January 20th~~	~~March 16th~~
~~May 18th~~	~~July 20th~~
September 21st	November 23rd

Following are the 2009 American Warrior Tournament dates:

January 18th	March 22nd
May 17th	July 19th
September 20th	November 22nd

REGISTRATION opens at 9:00 a.m.

BLACK BELT MEETING begins at
10:00 a.m. and competition starts immediately afterwards.

This is not the typical open karate tournament that usually starts late.

Any competitor registering AFTER
10:00 a.m. will pay an additional
$5.00 late fee.

The tournament director reserves the right to deny admission to and/or expel any person at his discretion.
Competitors will be permitted to compete in traditional uniforms ONLY.
Non-traditional dress or uniforms with rips, holes, dirt, or excessive wrinkling WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and shall constitute DISQUALIFICATION.

NO REFUND shall be issued for competitor
no-shows, expulsions and/or disqualifications.

The AMERICAN WARRIOR Martial Arts Tournament COMPETITION SERIES
is open to all ages, ranks and martial art styles.

Each time a competitor places 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any event, in any or all 6 tournaments in each calendar year series, he/she automatically accumulates 3 points for a 1st Place Win, 2 points for a 2nd Place Win and 1 point for a 3rd Place Win. These points are totaled at the end of the competition year and the competitors with the highest point totals in six age categories are each awarded 'COMPETITOR of the YEAR' trophies. These presentations take place at the Awards Event, which is the first tournament of each new year, usually in January. Following are the six age categories :

7 yrs. & under

8 & 9 yrs.

10 & 11 yrs.

12 & 13 yrs.

14 & 15 yrs.

16 yrs. & older

From these six winners, the 'COMPETITOR of the YEAR' with the highest point total is
awarded the coveted 'AMERICAN WARRIOR of the YEAR' trophy.

Aside from the routine entry fees,
participation in the AMERICAN WARRIOR COMPETITION SERIES is FREE,
but you have to compete regularly
if you want to improve your chances of winning!
