POWER STRIKING COMPETITION.

The Power Striking competition is performed on an electronic striking pad. Each competitor shall execute two (2) hand/arm or two (2) non-Arial kicking techniques or a combination of one of each against the striking pad. Spinning kicks are acceptable, but also more difficult to focus, which is critical to achieving a high score.

Each technique will produce a numerical score on a digital meter. The total of the two numerical scores divided by the competitor’s weight will result in a decimal number, which in comparison to the other competitors in the division, shall determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Dividing the total of the two scores by the competitor’s weight (each competitor’s weight is certified tournament day) makes it fair for all competitors in the division, regardless of their age or size.
